Mrs. Jennette Dyals Barrow, 86, died Thursday (February 13, 2025) at Baptist Village Retirement Communities.
She was born September 1, 1938 in Waycross to the late John Melvin Dyals and Venie Shope Dyals Todd. Mrs. Barrow was a sales clerk at Brownings Pharmacy for 30 years. She was a member of Jamestown Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, cross stitching, solving Bible word searches, gardening, canning, and cooking. She loved to be in her rocking chair on her porch.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Pausty Quitman Todd; seven siblings, Ellis Melvin Dyals, Loyd Walker Dyals, Whitmer Dyals, Eugene Dyals, Homer Dyals, Annette Crosby, and Mary Ruth Albritton.
Survivors include her husband, William A. Barrow; three children, Jeana Shuman (John), Pam Sweat (Ben), and Joey Barrow (Jeri); ten grandchildren, Heather Paruso (Vince), Mandy Cates (Jess), Matthew Boyer, Rion Spurlock (Kelley), Nick Sweat, Ashley Barrow, Corey Barrow (Ashlee), Dalton Barrow, Samantha Penninger, and Noah Barrow (Ceirra); twelve great grandchildren, Madison, Dylan, Lily, Mia, Alexis, Finley, Rowan, Khloe, Rylee, Liam, Jett, and Ayden; and two siblings, Quitman Todd and Winkie Dowling.
The family would like to thank the staff at Baptist Village and Hospice House Satilla for their amazing service and kindness. If anyone would like to donate the family asks that donations be made to Hospice House Satilla, 808 Evergreen Way Waycross, GA 31501 and Baptist Village Retirement Communities at 2650 Carswell Ave. Waycross, GA 31503.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
