Jenney Drazek...Loving wife of Martin
Devoted daughter to Soon Boon and Seung Sun Jang.
Dearest sister to Suk Ki, Suk Young, Suk Rang, Suk Rye, Suk Won and Suk Hee.
Loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Jenney was the owner of one of South Korea's most eminent beauty salons in The White House District of Seoul, Korea.
In addition, she was hired by many of Korea's top movie studios and television stations as a hair designer and makeup artist.
She immigrated to the U.S. to accommodate her mother's desire to keep the family together and immediately began working at Luigi and Salvo Beauty Salon in Des Plaines. In only one week, she attracted twice as many customers as the rest of the staff combined after placing an ad in the Korean newspaper. Such was the magic of her professional name (Jang Yoon Jung) with locals who came here from Korea. She subsequently opened two of her own beauty salons, each of which were equally successful.
She succumbed to uterine cancer on January 3rd, 2025.
A memorial mass will be offered for her at St. Zachary Church 567 W. Algonquin Rd., Des Plaines, IL. on Friday, January 10th, 2025 at 11:00 am.
