Jennifer "Jenni" April (Moiser) Merritt, 41, of Ada, passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 21, 2025 in Ada. She was born on April 16, 1984 in Escandido, California to her parents Michael Paul Merritt and Mary Ellen (Andreasen) Merritt. She grew up in the Ada area and graduated from Byng High School in 2002. She met the love of her life, Christopher Smith, and together they shared sixteen wonderful years together. Jenni was a stay at home mom who loved to spend her time doing crafts, making resin jewelry boxes, and painting. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, as well as cooking for her family and children, who she cherished more than anything in the world. Jenni was a kind and loving soul, who will be dearly missed by all of those who had met her.
Jenni is preceded in death by her daughter Ashlyn Moiser, mother Mary Merritt, father Michael Merritt, grandfather Sam Jewell, uncle Gary Anderson, maternal grandfather Jack Andreasen, and paternal grandfather Jack Merritt.
Jenni is survived by her husband Christopher Smith of Ada, daughter Sabella Smith, son Colton Moiser, brother Joshua Merritt, brother Jason Merritt and wife Carissa, brother Aaron Merritt, uncle Kenneth Jewell, aunt Sherry Andreasen-Kimmel and husband Ron, grandmother Ellen Andreasen, and aunt Kathy Powers and uncle Mike Powers, nephews Isaiah and Cooper, nieces Lincoln and Danny, and countless cousins, second cousins and distant family.
