Jennie Mae Taylor Gainous, age 88 of Springfield, Tennessee passed from this life on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at NHC of Springfield. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, December 29, 2024, in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Tim Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Greenbrier Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 12 pm until the hour of service at 2 pm.
Ms. Gainous was born September 17, 1936, in Barren Plains, TN to the late Robert L. and Ethel Dixon Taylor. She was a member of First Baptist Collinwood TN and a homemaker.
Surviving her are sons and daughters-in-law, Tony A. and Denise Gainous, Randell M. and Chastity Gainous and Ted and Mary Gainous; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Jason Handy; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
