Jennie “Jen (MacDonald) Maloney, 90 years of age, of Sherwood, Arkansas passed away on February 22, 2023. She was born in Canterbury, New Hampshire on January 3, 1933 to the late Norman and Della (Lufkin) MacDonald.

Jen was preceded in death by her loving husband of 70 years James “Russ” Maloney on June 22, 2022.

Jen is survived by her brother Malcom (wife, Margie) MacDonald; her six children and their families, Lorna (Maloney) (husband, Charlie) Tobin, Timothy (wife, Joan) Maloney, Lisa (Maloney) (husband, Dale) Love, Laurie (Maloney) (husband, Al) Aldridge, Thomas Maloney, Todd (wife, Alisa) Maloney, 17 grandchildren and 24 great-children.

Jen has devoted her life to her husband and her family. She has been a devout follower of the Catholic Church and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Rosary will be at 7:00 PM Tuesday, February 28, 2023,  at Smith Sherwood Funeral Home (7700 Hwy 107). Memorial Mass will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (700 JFK) with internment following at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at noon.

In lieu flowers, donations may be made to Arkansas Hospice. The loving support given to Jen and her family, throughout this difficult time will never be forgotten. Donations may also be made to Immaculate Conception Church of NLR, Arkansas.
