Jennie Lou Thomas Lewis was born on November 18, 1937 to the late Robert Edward Lee Thomas and Ollie Bell (Kate) Crouch Thomas Ricketts.
She was united in holy marriage to Billy Joe Lewis on October 1, 1960, who survives. Jennie is survived by daughter, BeLinda Jean Lewis Tilley; sons, Rex (Jennifer) Lewis, Timothy (Tammy) Lewis, and Billy Wayne (Shonda) Reeves; 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; brothers, Jerry (Sarah) Thomas of Crump, Tennessee and Harold E. Thomas of Niceville, Florida; 2 sisters in love, Cynthia Ricketts of Mayfield, Kentucky, and Wanda Carraway of Houston, Texas; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; special friends, Velma Stanfill Robinson and Reba Sawner, and many other friends.
In addition to her parents, Jennie was preceded in death by one sister, Bobbie Evelyn Franks; brothers, James Floyd Thomas and Ronald Ricketts; sisters in law, Joyce Thomas and Gracie Lewis Denton; stepfather, Theodore Ricketts; granddaughter, Heather Lewis; and great granddaughter, Mackelti Reeves.
