Send FlowersURBANA – Jennie Ann Wesbecher, 82 of Urbana, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025 in the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She was born on Jan. 3, 1943 in Conover, Ohio, a daughter of the late John Andrew and Velma Marie (Cost) Warman.
Jennie was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church where she always looked forward to making beautiful crafts for their Annual Craft Sale. She enjoyed family gatherings and being with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Jennie was employed with the Drackett Company in Urbana for many years and later retired from Navistar with 15 years of service. Her hobbies included crafting, particularly making personalized handmade birthday cards for her entire family, raising butterflies, baking and cooking for the holidays and spending time outdoors taking care of her flowers and doing yard work.
She is survived by her daughters, Carla (Rick) McKee and Christina Staley; a son, Timothy (Sharon) Staley; grandchildren, Lacey (Don) Turner, Brandon (Kira) Staley, Ryan Staley, Kameron (Nina) Staley, Michael (Colleen) McKee, Matthew (Cassie) McKee and Myea Ogden; 14 great-grandchildren, numerous great-great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce Alaine Weimer; brother, John Alby Warman and many loving cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Joseph Wesbecher, whom she married on March 21, 1992 and shared 32 wonderful years of marriage; her parents, John Andrew and Velma Marie Warman; sister, Judy Arlene Warman; sister-in-law, Bonnie Warman and a brother-in-law, Kevin Weimer.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025 from 10 a.m.-noon in the WALTER & LEWIS FUNERAL HOME, 642 S. Main Street, Urbana, Ohio, where funeral services will began at noon. Burial will follow in Oak Dale Cemetery, Urbana.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jennie's memory to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, Tenn., 38105.
