Jennifer Lynn was born on December 27, 1977, in Alexandria, Minnesota the daughter of Gerald and Jeanne (Miller) Fritz. She grew up in Carlos and attended St. Mary’s Elementary. Jen graduated from Jefferson Senior High School in Alexandria in 1996. She furthered her education at Alexandria Technical College receiving her RN Degree.
After graduation Jennifer worked at Douglas County Hospital and then Bethany Home. After several years in nursing she worked at Douglas Machine as Supervisor of Consolidation. She made friends wherever she worked and had a great relationship with her colleagues.
On July 12, 1997, she married Robert Anderson to this union two children were born Tristin and Katie. Jen’s goal in life was to be a mom and a nurse and she accomplished both. She loved life and always had time for her family and friends.
Jennifer will be remembered for her love of animals – especially dogs. She had a soft spot for Ellies Pet Legacy which is where she got her dog Charlie. Her biggest passion was the Minnesota Vikings – everything was purple in her world – she was a dedicated fan.
Jennifer died on Sunday, September 29, 2024. She is survived by her husband, Robert; son, Tristin; daughter, Katie and fiance’, Mike; dad, Gerald; brother, Chris, fiance’ Trista; mother & father-in-law, Loraine & Bob Anderson; sister-in-law, Becky & Joe Schiermeister; brother-in-law Derrick & Nick Anderson; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mom, Jeanne.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024, 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alexandria with visitation one hour prior to the service.
