Jennifer Lauren (Beardslee) Johnson passed away on October 20, 2025, after years of health issues.
Jennifer was born on December 29, 1975, to John and Judy Beardslee of Lakeview, Michigan. Her involvement in community activities began at an early age and continued throughout her life. As a young girl, she participated in bowling, baton, roller skating, Olympics of the Mind, and science clubs. While attending Lakeview High School, she could be found on the softball field, playing in the band, or in various clubs including Quiz Bowl, Pep Club, Language Arts, Student Government, and publishing the school newspaper before graduating in 1994.
Jennifer loved life and approached all her days with enthusiasm. She was always up for an adventure but was equally happy to spend the evening snuggling with her cats, watching baseball, putting a puzzle together, or having a game night with friends. She enjoyed attending plays and movies and was an actress in her own right, performing in local theater and elementary schools. She had an easy confidence and a great sense of humor that brought people together around her. Jennifer will forever be remembered for her sharp wit, creative mind, irreverent tongue, and generous spirit of giving.
She was preceded in death by her parents John W. and Judy Beardslee, and sister Jana (Beardslee) Proulx.
She is survived by John E. and Sue Beardslee, Julie (Beardslee) Taylor and Kevin Kalbfleisch, nephews and niece James Miller, Joseph and Eva Beardlsee, and Katie Beardslee and Cooper Neavill.
Jennifer's family will greet visitors at the Brigham Funeral Chapel in Lakeview from 12 until 1pm with a Celebration of Life immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cannonsville Critters.
