Jennifer E. Clavin, 76, of Media, PA, passed away June 2, 2025.
Born March 22, 1949, in Upper Darby, PA, she was a daughter of Joseph M. and Bettie Marie (nee D'Amond) Clavin.
Jennifer attended Holy Cross Elementary School in Springfield as well as Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Morton, both in the 1960s. Later, she attended special needs schooling at The Elwyn School in Media. She later worked at Elwyn Industries in a program that gave past students meaningful income, purpose and dignity, manufacturing items by hand for the private sector.
Jennifer was an avid collector of books and vintage and antique dolls and even worked at a doll hospital doing restorative work on porcelain and non-porcelain dolls. Her collection is substantial and was the joy of her life. She was a lover of many forms of music and incorporated it into her life every day. She had a keen interest and understanding of European history. In her middle-years she enjoyed nothing more than her 3-week trip with her mother and brother to the Western United States and seeing many of our national parks.
Jennifer was the beloved sister of Elizabeth (Thomas) Meehan of Glenolden, PA, Robert (Donna) D'Amond of Morton, PA, Mary Anne (the late Paul) Peterson of Aston, PA, Frances Clavin of Dallas, TX, and Christopher (Anna) Clavin of Chester Springs, PA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, William Clavin.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment at Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
