October 23, 1966 - November 24, 2021
Eden Prairie, Minnesota - Jennifer H. Farley, 55, of Eden Prairie, MN, passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, after a long battle with breast cancer. She was born in Valdosta, GA, the daughter of Ernest Curtis and Georgeann (Howard) Hughes. She grew up in the South, living in Georgia, Louisiana, Texas, and North Carolina. She earned a degree in ceramics at East Carolina University. She had many jobs in her life, but her favorite was as a journalist in Washington, NC.
Jennifer was an avid gardener. She enjoyed feeding birds and other wildlife. She took pictures of snowflakes. But her greatest love was caring for her family.
Jennifer is survived by her children, Jasper and Jo, and Jasper's partner, Taylor; her brothers, Curtis and Timothy, and Curtis' wife, Rose; her mother, Georgeann; her father and stepmother, Curt and Janet; and her husband, Sean. And Romeo, her devoted dog.
Services will be private. In memory of Jennifer, donations may be made to Amnesty International or any local wildlife refuge.
