Jennifer Michelle Gray

Jennifer Michelle Gray, age 51, of Buckeye, Arizona, formerly of Eaton Rapids, Michigan, passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 28, 2025.

Jennifer worked at Meridian Magnesium for ten years. She took her dream move to Arizona, where she worked for the Town of Marana and more recently the City of Glendale as a Procurement Specialist. She also volunteered at several city events throughout the year.

Jennifer's Arizona lifestyle included mountain hiking, pool days, and trips to dog beaches in California. When visiting family in Michigan, she enjoyed time at the lake, U of M football games, and trips to Traverse City wineries with her girlfriends. Wherever she went, she always brought a special sparkle with her. ("Bling, bling!")

Jennifer's personality fit the cars she drove-she was a Hellcat! However, she was also very frugal, so she got a Buick to save on gas to and from work. She was hard-working, loyal, and independent. She was always up for an adventure or to lend a helping hand. She had a big heart for dogs and rescued many over the years, including her most recent fur babies June, Maize, and Bleu.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rachel and Dale Gray, Cynthia Esterline, Robert (Jacquelyn) Herzberg, and her aunts, R. Ann Herzberg and Marjory Gray-Alderman.

She is survived by her parents, Sue and David Gray, her sister Jacquelyn (Troy) Oliver, nephew Anthony (Tiana) Oliver and great-niece, Olivia, niece Arika (Johnathon) Brunton and great-nephews, Jaxson, Caspian, and Fletcher. Jennifer is also survived by her special friends and loved ones Keith Atherton, Laurie Case, Amy Idd, and Darrel Young.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, September 28 at 2:30 PM, located at the American Legion, 1000 W. Lawrence Hwy, Charlotte, MI 48813. Please wear your University of Michigan gear in support of Jennifer's favorite team.
