Born on September 19, 1970, to Douglas and Lillian Coursen, Jenn married Kris Hamrick, on August 1, 1998. She was known by many as "Jenn," but her most cherished title was "Ya-Ya." Her greatest joys were her family and her beloved pets: Gina, Scruffy, and Salem. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, listening to music, and watching TV. She also explored the US with her husband over the past year in their RV.

She is survived by her husband, Kris Hamrick; her children: Mallory (Devan) Leburg, Douglas R. Coursen II, Gabriella (Devilin) Hamrick, Robert (Karina) Hamrick, and Crystal Frasure; her mother, Lillian Coursen; her sister, Debbie Coursen; and her grandchildren: Angelina Frasure, Katelyn Frasure, Isabelle Frasure, Pablo Ortiz, Leo Hamrick, Oliver Leburg, Eli Leburg, and Naiomi Hamrick. She is also survived by nephews Dave (Kristen) Budy and Chad Budy; many great-nieces and nephews; and cousins. As well as her extended family including: Kashunda Barnes, Amy Jackolew, Nicole Varkette, Heather Tobias, and Jade Arkkelin.

Jenn was preceded in death by her father, Douglas R. Coursen; her sister, Lynda Coursen; her cousin, Ken Jonas; and several aunts and uncles.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to Lake West Hospital for the exceptional care and compassion they provided.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 14, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., with a funeral service to follow at 4:00 p.m. at Fleming & Billman Funeral Home, 526 W. Prospect Rd., Ashtabula. Burial will take place on Tuesday, July 15, at noon at Ridgeview Cemetery.
