Jennifer Johnson Obituary
From a young age she was a devout Christian and dedicated member of Freedom Home Baptist Church with Oscar B. Howard, Jr. as her pastor. Jennifer faithfully served in ministry, including her greatest passion as a member of the choir.
Jennifer attended Austin ISD schools and graduated from LBJ High School, Class of 2003.
She joined the heavenly choir on December 26, 2022. Jennifer was preceded in death by her father, William Johnson; bonus dad, Vernon Carathers; aunt, Joyce Benson; and uncle, Marcus Washington.
Her memory will be cherished by her devoted mother, Marion Marcella Carathers; sisters, Chemeika Washington (Lee) and Jocelyn Johnson (Kirk); bonus brother, Vernon Clay Carathers; daughters, Jaelyn Johnson and Marcella Johnson; son, Perry Davidson, III; uncles: Myron Washington (Debra), Walter Edward Johnson (Sherry), and C.B. Benson (Polly); aunts: Theresa Benson and Ella Malone; nieces, Marion and Alicia Williams; and a host of loving cousins, relatives, and friends.
