Jennifer Dawn Nitz

Jennifer Dawn Nitz of Cass City, age 57, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born May 27, 1968, the daughter of the late Ernest and Hazel (Whidden) Nitz. Jenny graduated from Sebewaing High School and went on to work at the Tuscola County Medical Care Community for fifteen years. She enjoyed playing Hay Day, bingo, and played on a bowling league. Jenny was known for talking and reminiscing about the good times. She was her sons' biggest supporter, always cheering them on at football games, track, and bowling. Jenny had the kindest heart and purest soul. Her memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Jenny is survived by her fiancé, Richard Spencer; two sons, Dustin Spencer and Austin Spencer; sisters, Sharon & Jr. Schemacker and Nancy & Tom McGrath; brothers, Pat Nitz and Randy Nitz; brothers-in-law, Darrell Wiergowski, Art Englehart, and Don Horiski; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Jenny was preceded in death by her sisters, Francis Wiergowski, Vera Englehart, and Cynthia Horiski; sister-in-law, Chris Nitz.

In keeping with Jenny's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life is being planned for the end of August.
