Jennifer "Jeni" Sharp

Jennifer "Jeni" Rebecca Sharp, age 49, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on July 13, 2022. She was born on May 5, 1973 in Springfield, Missouri, graduated from Glendale High School in 1991, and attended Drury College. She then went on to a career as a dog groomer at Petco. She was a member of Southgate Baptist Church. She loved traveling, especially if it included sun and sand. She had a love for all animals, dogs most of all.
She is preceded in death by her father David Sharp; paternal grandparents Harold and Wanda Sharp; maternal grandparents Joe and Betty Carter; and an uncle Don Carter. She is survived by her mother Lynda (Carter) Sharp, of Springfield, MO; several cousins; many friends that Jeni considered family; and her beloved Yorkie, Mia.
There will be a visitation on Thursday July 21, 10:00 am, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. The service will Thursday July 21, 11:00 am, Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with the burial following at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donation be made to 4 the Love of K9's.
