Jennifer “Jenny” Willard (Kekahbah), age 57, of Newkirk passed away Friday November 10, 2023 at 6pm surrounded by family. She was a Newkirk High School graduate in 1984. Jenny was an athlete to say the least. Basketball being her sport of choice through her school days. After graduating she enjoyed many leisure activities including slow pitch softball, bowling, fishing and camping and just spending time with friends and family. She enjoyed listening to music ranging from Janis Joplin to Metallica and everything in between. Jennifer was a fun and energetic person to be around and could always be seen with a smile on her face.
Jennifer worked a lot of jobs throughout her life, she cleaned tanks at the Conoco Phillips plant, a laborer at Air System Components (ASC), both in Ponca City, and worked at Southwest Cupid in Blackwell. Jennifer never left Kay County and was a glowing part of the community.
She raised her children in Newkirk and Blackwell and was the light and inspiration for them both. Supporting them and encouraging them to do great things. Jennifer was living in the White Plume Indian Village in Newkirk at the time of her passing. Jennifer was preceded in death by her father, Robert Kekahbah; son, Mitchell Willard; brother, Joe Kekahbah. She is survived by her mother, Esley Kekahbah; brothers, Bobby and Warren Kekahbah; sisters Erin (Poppy) and Mary Kekahbah; son, Robert Willard; daughter, Jade Willard; and numerous Grandchildren, Taylor (17), Corvin (13), Romy (12), Temperance (9), Maycee and Graycee (5), Keeleigh (8 months) and her little dog Andy(age unknown).
Family will be receiving friends and family November 21, 2023 at 10:00 am at the Grace Memorial Chapel, 2016 N. 14th St, Ponca City OK 74601.
