It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jenny Carol Dixon, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Jenny passed away on April 11, 2024, at her residence in Cheraw, South Carolina. She was born on July 4, 1954, in West Columbia, South Carolina, to parents who loved her dearly.

Jenny will be remembered for her warm and compassionate heart. She had a passion for music and shared her talent by playing the piano. Her love for music extended to her family, as she took joy in teaching her grandchildren how to play as well. Jenny's giving nature extended beyond music; she was known as the "candy lady" for her habit of sharing sweets, particularly mentos and mints, wherever she went.

In her professional life, Jenny made a mark as a Certified Nursing Assistant after retiring from Galey and Lord in Society Hill, South Carolina, where she worked in the textiles industry. Her dedication and hard work were evident in all aspects of her life.

Jenny cherished her family above all else, especially her husband, Marion Dixon; her children - Jerry Dixon, and Matthew (Kristie) Dixon - and her grandchildren, Luke (Mary-Audrey) Dixon and Makenzie Dixon. She also leaves behind her sister Kay (Preston) Bryant and brother Larry Amick, who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

Jenny was preceded in death by her parents; Elbert and Helen Louise Nelson Amick.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 15, 2024, at Kiser Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Midway Baptist Church in Cheraw, SC.  Burial will follow in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens.

May Jenny Carol Dixon's legacy of love and kindness live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
