Jenny M. Shampine

Jenny Marie White Pigeon Shampine, passed away in the comfort of her home surrounded by those who loved her on November 11, 2025, at the age of 72. She was born on August 23, 1953 in Kentucky to Peter and Irene Seymour.
Jenny was a proud member of the Prairie Band Pottawatomi Indian Nation as well as a faithful Baptist and attendee of Kensington Church.
In the year 2000, Jenny met her husband, Harry Shampine. After spending some time together, the two romantically tied the knot on valentine's day in 2002. They would happily spend the next 23 years together. Jenny treasured the cross-country touring trips she and Harry would take on his motorcycle as well as camping, fishing, and the outdoors. She also enjoyed searching for treasures at yard sales and scoring great finds at estate sales. Additionally, she could be found playing the slots at any of her favorite casinos. Above all, Jenny was best known as a compassionate and loving person. She loved listening to Motown, oldies, and karaoke nights. She was a true social butterfly and wanted to offer a helping hand whenever she could. She was deeply loved and will be sorely missed.
Jenny is survived by her loving husband, Harry, her sisters, Iris and Mary Jo, and brothers, Peter and Marty. She is also survived by her beloved sons, David (Erika) and Christopher (Ruth) Eddleman. Along with her cherished grandchildren, Hannah Powell, Nathan Powell, Quinn Powell, Larissa Lertola, Dustin Eddleman, Savannah Eddleman, Elizabeth Eddleman, Zack Eddleman, four great-grandchildren, and of course, her three prized dogs, Princess, Buster and Brownie.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Ronnie J. Powell, and her sisters, Daphne and Katie.
A Memorial Service will take place at Lynch and Sons Funeral Home, 1368 North Crooks Road, Clawson, (between 14 and 15 Mile Road), on Sunday, November 16, at 5pm. Friends may visit beginning at 2pm.
