Jenny Webb, age 67, longtime resident of MacDougall Road, died on Friday, August 22, 2025 at Pathway Home, following an extended cancer illness.

Jenny was born in Bellflower, CA on April 2, 1958, a daughter of the late Calvin and Virginia (nee Millard) Lesher Jr. In her early life, she worked in healthcare driven by a desire to help others. But it was through caring for animals that she discovered her true calling. With the chance meeting of her beloved future husband, Jenny moved to New York and was able to invest in her passion for rescuing animals, eventually founding Seneca County’s first Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. For over 25 years, she was an advocate for animals of all kinds, through this work she formed lasting and meaningful friendships.

Jenny is survived by her husband, Stephen; her daughter, Emily (Bruce) Malloy of Newark, DE and her grandson, Edward; her sister, Shellie Daniels of Grand Junction, CO and her family, and her mother-in-law, Jean Webb of Geneva.

At Jenny’s request, no formal services are planned. Her family would like to extend their gratitude and appreciation to the staff and volunteers of Pathway Home. In her memory, kindly remember Jenny by donating to Pathway Home, PO Box 516, Seneca Falls, NY 13148.
