Jer'Den Davis Obituary
Jer'dan, affectionately known as Jay, was the second oldest child of Frances Settles and Eugene Davis. Along with his parents, he leaves behind his stepmother Debra, and his siblings: Terralis, Berlos, Angeleta, Lisa, Robyn, Eugene, Kecia and Devante.
He was husband to his previously departed wife, Tiffany, and a former wife, Alice. A stepfather to Joseph, Caleb and Kareem, and an uncle to Hailey, Reiley and Nateem.
He will also be missed by his Aunt Mary (Sis), his uncle's Johnny and Donald, numerous cousins and friends, and by his beloved Cane Corso Jinx.
Taking after his grandfather, Thomas Gibson, Jay knew and cared about everyone: family, friends, and strangers. If someone needed help, he'd give it, even if it meant he'd go without. He loved his family, animals, milk, and brownies.
Jay has now reunited with his wife Tiffany, his grandparents Leona, Thomas and Mary, and the rest of his family and ancestors. He's transitioned to a higher kingdom and calling, but he doesn't go from us. He goes into us, into our hearts and souls, where joy and memories are eternal.
Today is not a day for tears. It's a day to celebrate the life of the caring, loving soul God graced our lives with. Like all beautiful things, his life felt brief - like an inch within a mile. But the light and laughter he gave is like an eternal lighthouse against rocky shores.
