SIDNEY -- Jerald "Jerry" Moore, age 83 of Sidney, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at 11:35 AM at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born the son of Elwood and Mildred (Winemiller) Moore on January 10, 1939, in Troy, Ohio.
Jerry is survived by his loving family, daughters Vanessa (Doug) Winner, Hessie Wagner, Bonnie Brown, Connie Moore, and Jennifer (Jeraldine) Torres, grandchildren, Tabetha Duckro, Louie Steel, Erica Martin, Kyle Trapp, Rich Allen, Tonya Leist, Michelle, Jackson, Sarah Ramirey, and Crystal Keith, and several great grandchildren.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, wife Avonell "Abby" Moore, daughter Cheryl, son Joe Joe, sister Judy and grandson Jason.
Jerry retired from the Stolle Corporation. He was a member of Crossroad Church of God in Piqua. He loved gospel music, the Cincinnati Reds and Cleveland Browns, throwing horseshoes and reading the paper. Most of all he loved his family. Jerry will be missed by all who love him.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at 2 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12 PM (Noon) until the time of service.
