Jeremiah "Jay Bird" Daniel Allison, age 47, of Maysville, Georgia passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025.
Mr. Allison was born on January 14, 1978 in Habersham County, Georgia to the late David Allison and June Simmons Allison. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Michelle Martin; grandchild, Alden Allison; paternal grandparents, Barbara and Grady Savage; maternal grandparents, Hoyt and Lola Simmons. Jeremiah Allison brought joy and light everywhere he went. He loved music, and his passion for it filled many moments with rhythm and happiness. Known for his bright smile and fun-loving spirit, Jeremiah had a way of making people feel welcomed and uplifted in his presence. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the blessing of knowing him. Though his time here was far too short, the joy he shared and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Jeremiah and Haley Allison, of Toccoa; son, Eli Allison, of Eastanollee; son, Noah Allison, of Toccoa; step-son, Justin Martin; sister and brother-in-law, Reginia and Joshua Rogers, of Maysville; brother, Matthew Allison, of Toccoa; grandchildren, Zane Allison, Atlas Allison; nieces, Clara Allison, Dixie Rogers; nephews, Robert "RJ" Becerra, Jr.; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 3, 2025 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with Rev. Mark Gunter officiating. Interment will follow at the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 2, 2025 at the funeral home.
