Jeremiah M Yeiter

Jeremiah "Jerry" Yeiter 55, of Kermit TX, passed away suddenly on August 10, 2025. Jerry, as he was known, was born in Anchorage, AK on January 11, 1970, to Gerald Yeiter and Judith Smith. He moved from Alaska to Kermit, TX after graduating from high school.

He spent many years traveling the States and abroad as a "Rock Guitarist and Musician" with known groups, Iron Maiden and Metallica. His reputation put him in magazines; Hard Rock and Rolling Stone. When not on the music circuit, his passion was Harley Davidson Motorcycles and collecting guitars.

Jerry is survived by his sisters; Candice (Mike) Spell of Texico, NM, Beverly (Tom) Colvin of Angel Fire, NM, Michele Rauch of Eagles Nest, NM, and Margaret (Woody) Koning of Kodiak, AK. Along with numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends in Kermit, TX.

Jerry was known for his blue eyes, sweet smile, kind heart, and his love for animals and closest to him, his beloved Charlie and Mama Dog

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. He will be laid to rest at Lawn Haven, (with his mother) Clovis, NM.
