He served and protected his nation in the US Army. Jerry retired from Coca-Cola following many years of service. He was an avid sports memorabilia collector, especially of his favorite team the Chicago Bears.
In addition to his parents, Jerry is preceded in death by his first wife Nancy Rodriguez; siblings Paul Rodriguez, Billy Rodriguez, Tessie Romero, Susie Herrera, Ana Socolov, and Miguel Rodriguez.
Those left to cherish his memory, are his daughter Teresa (Fiancé Alex Herrera) Rodriguez; two grandchildren Sage and Bentley along with another expected; siblings Eleanor Hulme, Gloria Rodriguez, and Juanita Wilton; second wife Brenda Rodriguez. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Cremation will be observed, with no additional services held at this time. Jerry will be interred near his parents in the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Chandler Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 609 West Street, Caldwell, Ohio 43724 has been entrusted to care for the family.

My uncle Jerry was the uncle who lived in a big city. He would come once a year to visit his family and it was always a great time. I also remember going to Chicago when I was eighteen. He and Nancy took me to my first dinner show to see the Fifth Dimension and Nancy took me basement shopping. I thought it was great. I know that he is with my mom and dad laughing and telling jokes just like the old days. Cynthia

My first memory of uncle Jerry is when he asked me, in front of his brother, my uncle Billy, who my favorite uncle was. I began shedding my five-year old tears I couldn´t choose and risk hurting either ones´ feelings. Truth be told, my uncle Jerry was always my favorite uncle. That will never change. I pray he and my mom are together , laughing and enjoying the reunion with all who have passed....Evie
