It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jeremy Brent Bellamy, age 50, who departed this life on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. Jeremy was born on July 14, 1974, in Dallas, Texas, to his loving parents, Russell and Karla Bellamy.
On May 15, 1999, Jeremy married the love of his life, Jackie Bellamy, and together they created a nurturing environment for their son, Tyler. Jeremy's dedication to his family was evident in every aspect of his life. He cherished spending time with Tyler, whether it was hunting or raising FFA projects, and he held a beautiful dream of building a future show swine business together.
For 16 years, Jeremy served as a peace officer for the city of Universal City, followed by an additional four years serving the City of Cibolo. His law enforcement career was a true reflection of his lifelong commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.
Jeremy is survived by his beloved wife, Jackie; his son, Tyler; his mother, Karla Bellamy; his brother, Ben Bellamy (Jessica); his Mother-In-Law, Sheila Clemts, his grandmother Yvonne White (Charles "Parker"), numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces and his cherished pet, Koda Bellamy. He was preceded in death by his father, Russell Bellamy, his father-in-law Robert "Bob" Clemts and his dear grandparents, William "Bill" Bellamy, Carl McWilliams, and Carolyn Bellamy.
A Funeral Service to honor Jeremy's life will be held Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 3:00 PM in the Steele High School Auditorium. Gathering begins at 2:00 PM.
In honor of Jeremy's legacy, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the National Carbon Monoxide Awareness Association, and Lone Star Paws 4 A Cause.
Jeremy will be deeply missed, but his spirit and love for his family will continue to resonate in their hearts.
The family would like to thank Cibolo Police Department for their support during this difficult time.
