Jeremy R. Jacobsen, 51, of Marseilles, IL was peacefully called home surrounded by his loved ones on April 8, 2025. Jeremy was a devoted husband, dad, son, brother, grandson, nephew, son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, godfather, cousin and friend to many.
Jeremy was born in Waukon, IA to Don Jacobsen and Kathleen (Jacobsen) Kocher on April 4, 1974. Jeremy is survived by his wife Amy of 19 years and children Alex and Jocelyn. Mother and Stepdad Kathleen and Al Kocher. Brother Daniel Jacobsen (Marcel Gabitan), Grandmother Barbara Horns, along with many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Sisters Melisa Childers (Jeff), Jennifer Smock (Byron) and Cousin Kenny Jacobsen. Mother-in-law Debbie Gray. Brothers and Sister-in laws; Mike and Michelle Colletti, Sal and Tina Castro. Nieces and Nephews; Ashley and Jessica Childers, Maria Jacobsen, Arianna, Scarlett and Emma Castro, Michael and Giavanna Colletti and Godson Dominick Colletti.
Jeremy was preceded in death by his Brother Jim Jacobsen, Father Don Jacobsen, Grandmother and Grandfather Jacobsen, Grandfather Horns and many other family members.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
The Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday April 19th, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Immanuel Lutheran Church 227 E Bluff St, Marseilles, Illinois 61341.
Please note there will be an hour of Private Memorial Reflection between the Memorial Visitation and the Celebration of Life.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday April 19th, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Immanuel Lutheran Church 227 E Bluff St, Marseilles, Illinois 61341.
Interment will be Private at the request of the family.
