Jeremy Douglas Lee Marburger, born on December 18, 1992, in Wabash, Indiana, passed away tragically from a motorcycle accident on July 8, 2025, in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He was a devoted family man, a proud serviceman, and a beacon of strength and love for those fortunate enough to know him.

Jeremy graduated from Tippecanoe Valley High School in 2011, laying the foundation for a life marked by dedication and commitment. In 2012, he took a pivotal step in his life by enlisting in the United States Army, where he would serve his country with honor and valor. His basic training commenced at Fort Sill, and throughout his military career, Jeremy rose to the rank of Staff Sergeant, serving as a Supply Specialist. His service included a significant tour in Afghanistan, a stint in Korea, and four years stationed in Germany, where he collaborated closely with the German Bundeswehr and the Italian Armies. This past June, with a sense of pride and purpose, Jeremy reenlisted for what would be his final term before retirement.

Jeremy was known for his profound love, unwavering loyalty, and remarkable strength. He gave freely of himself, always ready to lend a helping hand to family, friends, and comrades. His commitment to his loved ones was evident through his marriage to Chelsea Haugen in 2018, with whom he built a beautiful family. Jeremy was dedicated to ensuring that his children had the opportunity to embrace life's experiences, travel, and grow into well-rounded individuals no matter where they found themselves.

As we remember Jeremy, we celebrate the impact he made during his lifetime—a life rooted in love, service, and a commitment to family that will continue to resonate with all who were privileged to know him. His journey may have come to an end, but his legacy of kindness, strength, and dedication remains firmly etched in the hearts of those who loved him.

The loving memory of Jeremy Douglas Lee Marburger will be forever cherished by his parents, Douglas Lee and Debbie (Millington) Marburger, North Manchester, Indiana; wife, Chelsea Haugen, Fort Sill, Oklahoma; children, Reese, Eden, and Emberlee; sisters, Leslie Cerbone, Wabash, Indiana, Shannon Miller, Ware Shoals, South Carolina, and Stephanie (Jeff) Igney, New Haven, Indiana; and grandparents, Sharon (Darrell) Hopkins, North Manchester, Indiana. Jeremy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack and Doris Marburger, Jerry and Glenda Millington, and Robert “Bob” Kline; and brother-in-law, Gabe Miller.
