Jeremy Scott McBay, age 48, resident of Coweta, OK, passed away tragically on Friday, December 5, 2025, in Haskell, OK. He was born on July 8, 1977, in Midwest City, OK to Billy Ray and Deanna Lynn (Wisehart) McBay. Jeremy's life was a testament to his unwavering spirit and the joy he brought to those around him.
Jeremy graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 1995 and furthered his education at Tulsa Vo-Tech, laying the groundwork for a successful career. Jeremy's professional life was marked by his dedication and skill, which he demonstrated as a service manager technician at Hollifield Service Company in Muskogee, OK.
On August 10, 2013, Jeremy married the love of his life, Katherine Reneé Owsley. Their union was blessed with two wonderful children, Jemma and Jude McBay, who were the center of Jeremy's world. He cherished every moment spent with his family and was actively involved in his children's activities, including boy scouts and girl scouts, where he shared his passion for adventure and learning.
Jeremy's interests extended beyond his family engagements. He was an avid reader with a particular fondness for the works of Stephen King, the epic tales of "Lord of the Rings," and the humor of Christopher Moore. His love for literature was a source of relaxation and inspiration throughout his life.
Jeremy is survived by his devoted wife, Reneé McBay of Coweta, OK; his adoring children, Jemma McBay and Jude McBay of Coweta, OK; his parents, Billy and Lynn McBay of Broken Arrow, OK; his uncle and aunt, John and Kay Wisehart of Stillwater, OK; and his aunt, Kathy Epley of Emporia, KS.
Jeremy was preceded by his brother, Joshua McBay, and his uncles, Bart Wisehart and Gary Epley.
Jeremy’s presence will be deeply missed, but the legacy of his kindness, laughter, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
A memorial service honoring Jeremy's life is pending and will be announced soon.
