Graveside service for Jeremy John Stone, 44, of Nacogdoches will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, October 13, 2023 at Alazan Cemetery with Ennis Fuller officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00pm - 2:00pm on Friday, October 13, 2023 at Laird Funeral Home.
Jeremy passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023 in Nacogdoches County. He was born on December 25, 1978 in Nacogdoches.
Known as "Good Boy" or "Tooey" by family and friends, Jeremy was truly one of a kind. He was a country boy like no other. He was very close to his father, who taught him the love of fishing and hunting. Jeremy worked in the woods and was always accompanied by his wife, Karen. He often shared his love of fishing and hunting with his daughters as well as many of his family and friends. He could not wait for his grandson Kross to reach the age of teaching him how to fish and hunt. Jeremy was blessed to become a grandfather 8 months ago and recently learned that he would have a 2nd grandson added to the family next year. When you were around him, you knew you would have a good time and be safe because he guarded family and friends without fear. His friends and family have had countless funny stories over the years. Those stories will keep his memory alive in our hearts.
Jeremy is survived by his wife of 22 years, Karen Sue Stone; daughters, Madyson Alyse Stone and Raegan Lane Stone of Nacogdoches; grandson, Kross Moore of Nacogdoches; father, John David Stone of Nacogdoches; mother, Clara Janette Stone of Nacogdoches; sister, Annette Elaine Pace of Nacogdoches; brother, David Stone & wife, Tese' of Melrose; nephew, Jeff Davis Pace and nieces, Kaylei Sutton, Brittani Cranford and ShyAnne Stone.
