Jeremy Isaiah Vigil

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved son Jeremy Isaiah Vigil, who passed away September 14, 2025, at the age of 31 surrounded by his family. Jeremy was born on July 22, 1994, in Santa Fe to Debbie Vigil and Robert Olivas. 

He was a big gamer who adored Autumn and everything nature had to offer. Jeremy had such a beautiful soul and a tremendous heart. He was always going the extra mile to help not only his loved ones but those who were in need. Jeremy loved his husky siblings Anakin, Kyrie, and Freya who were always by his side. Jeremy loved his job at the Presbyterian hospital call center and was very proud of all the people he helped. That was just how our Jeremy was, always compassionate and caring to the day our lord called him home. His infectious smile and presence will be truly and greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Mike B. Vigil and his paternal grandmother, Clarrisa Ann Olivas.

He is survived by his mother, Debbie Vigil and father, Robert Olivas; grandmother Jessie R. Vigil; his partner, Josh Riggs; his aunts, Liz Montoya (Tom), Teresita Vigil, Mary Navar (Joe), and Rose Monarque; his god sisters, Gabrielle Vigil and Sarah Vigil; his cousins, Andres Montoya and Noah Vigil; his uncle, Gerad Olivas; and many other friends and relatives.

A Rosary will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 6:00 pm at DeVargas Funeral Home in Espanola, NM, and second Rosary will be on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 9:30 am at Sacred Heart Church. A Mass will be on Saturday October 4, 2025, at 10:30 at Sacred Heart Church and burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
