Jerllyene Roney Middleton

Jerllyene Roney Middleton, 87, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2026, surrounded

by her loving family. She was the devoted wife of the late Levaughn Middleton of Attapulgus,

Georgia.

Mrs. Middleton was born June 22, 1938, in Washington County, Florida, she was the daughter

of Leon and Essie Mae Roney. Mrs. Middleton retired after 35 years with Southwest Georgia Oil

in Bainbridge, Georgia. She was a faithful member of Morningside Baptist Church, where she

sang in the choir and taught Sunday School for many years. She was also active in the Lions Club

and enjoyed walking with friends at the YMCA.

She had a sharp sense of humor and a little bit of sass that made everyone smile. She is

survived by her daughters, Darlene (Matthew) Donkin, Cecile (Bob) Kemp, and Leila (Quenten)

Syfrett; her grandchildren, Katharine (Phillip) Peacock, Stacey (Mike Gietl) Weybright, Calli (Luke)

Byler, Bradi (Allison) Pearce, and Campbell Donkin; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces,

and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her brother, Coy Roney.

A celebration of life will be held April 18th at 1p.m. EST at Poplar Springs Baptist Church,

1098 Lovewood Road, Graceville, Florida 32440. Interment will follow immediately afterward.
