Jerold C. Kintzel

Jerold C. Kintzel, 72, of Pine Grove passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Geraldine A. (Hullihan) Kintzel. They had celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary this past October 21st.

Born in Pottsville on March 26, 1953, he was the son of the late Jeremiah and Frances (Bretz) Kintzel. Jerry graduated from Pine Grove High School with the Class of 1971. In 1979 he started J.C. Kintzel Garage where he was a mechanic. In 1990 the garage added Kintzel Motors which sold cars. He enjoyed Sunday flea markets, auctions, buying antiques and working.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters Kelly A. wife of Jeffery Heim of Schuylkill Haven, and Megan E. Kintzel and husband Rich; grandchildren Ryan Heim, Tessa Thomas, Christopher Heim, Lexi, Nevaeh, Khloe and Andrew Heim; great grandchildren Brooks, Adelynn, Everly and Beau ; brother Richard Kintzel of Tremont and sister Diane Ditzler of Pine Grove. He was preceded in death by a daughter Angela M. Kintzel.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. The viewing will start at 10:00 a.m. until the start of the service. Interment will be at the Schuylkill Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Pine Grove.
