Jerold L. Morris, 89, of Chattanooga, passed away on December 21, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J. Owen & Thelma Harris Morris and brother, Joseph W. Morris.
He was a 1955 graduate of Ooltewah High School and served in the United States Navy.
Survivors include the mother of his children, Shelby Davis Morris; children Sandra (Charles) Smith, of Chatsworth, GA, J. Lamar Morris, of Ringgold, GA and Gay (Gregg) Hardin, of Chattanooga, TN; sisters, Ann Harrison, Sharon Morris, Sara (Bill) Swearingen, all of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Jeremy (Becca) Smith, Kacey (Jeremy) Thompson, all of Chatsworth, GA, Ben Clark, Hannah Clark, McKenna Hardin, Allen (Sydney) Hardin, all of Ringgold, GA and Brittany (Chris) Deal, of Rossville, GA; great-grandchildren, Lane, Luke, Eli and Jack Smith, Emma Kate & Carter Thompson, of Chatsworth, GA, Raelynn & Logan Hardin, of Ringgold, GA; a host of nieces and nephews.
A special "Thank You" to Leanne Greene and Hearth Hospice, Janet, Jennifer and Melinda.
A private service will be held, per the family.
