Fields – Jerome N. "Jerry" Fields, 80, a longtime Long Island resident and Brooklyn native, passed away on July 7, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Beloved husband of Lynda, devoted father to Monica, Gabriel, and Ross, and proud grandfather to Adrian and Nicolas.
A Vietnam veteran and dedicated professional, Jerry-a self-made man-served as Vice President of New York-Presbyterian Network Recovery Services for over 20 years. He was passionate about horse racing, poker, bridge, Jeopardy! crossword puzzles, football, and had a deep love for animals-especially his koi fish. Most of all, he loved his family and friends.
Jerry was cherished by his community at the Sid Jacobson JCC, where he found joy in long walks, card games, and meaningful connection.
We are saddened, heartbroken, and deeply grateful for the time we had with him. He cared for all of us deeply and lived to make our lives a little easier. He taught us patience, generosity, and how to love selflessly and unconditionally. He will be remembered always for his warmth, wit, and unwavering devotion to those he loved.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 18th, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at:
Roslyn Heights Funeral Home
75 Mineola Avenue
Roslyn Heights, NY
