Obituary of Jerome Orion Herman
ADRIAN- Jerome Orion Herman, age 90, of Adrian, died on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, in his home, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born February 8, 1932, in Ottoville, Ohio to Matthew J. and Josephine S. (Byrne) Herman. Jerome served in the United States Army. He married Gloria Miller on July 29, 1995, and she survives. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He worked at Tecumseh Products Company for 45 years and retired in April of 1995. Jerome was a member of the Moose and Eagles Clubs and enjoyed golfing and bowling.
In addition to his wife, Gloria, he is survived by three step-sons, Mickey (Sheila) miller, Brad (Tena) Miller, Kyle Miller; one sister, Mildred (Robert) Perry of Adrian; four grandchildren, RaeAnn, Tyler, Victoria, and Zak; eight step-grandchildren; Heather, Jasonn, Jenna, Amanda, Zach, Jordan, Danielle, and Konner; and 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sons, Terry Herman and Jimmy Herman.
Funeral services for Jerome will be held on Monday, April 11, 2022, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery where full military rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post #97 and V.F.W. Post #1584 Annis-Fint. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2022, from 2-4 p.m. and continuing at 6-8 p.m. at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian.
