Jerome Krchmar Obituary
Jerome was born September 18, 1958 in Clare, Michigan, the son of Mitchell J. Krchmar and Ruth "Suzie" (Dora) Krchmar. Mr. Krchmar was united in marriage to Ms. Elizabeth Joan Hawkins on April 11, 1981 in Harrison. Bub was raised and attended school in Marion, later moving and residing in Harrison for many years. Bub spent many years working as a forester.
Bub enjoyed hunting in his younger days, fishing and golfing. He enjoyed watching Detroit Lions and U of M football and Detroit Tigers baseball, vegetable gardening and spoiling his dogs, and listening to several genres of music. Bub would often share that his greatest achievement in life was the family he built with Elizabeth, their children and grandchildren. Bub was very proud of his children, their spouses and loved to brag about his grandchildren.
Surviving Mr. Krchmar is his loving wife of forty-two years, Mrs. Elizabeth J. Krchmar of Harrison; one son, J.D. (Kassie) Krchmar Jr. of Harrison; two daughters, Sarah (Brent) Lynch of Harrison and Stacy (Brad) Carlstrom also of Harrison; eight grandchildren, Austin (Alyssa) Krchmar, Haydin Sims, Kieler Krchmar, Mikemmley Shea, Isabel Lynch, Kelton Carlstrom, Brynley Carlstrom and Michael Lynch; one great-grandchild, Axton Krchmar; his mother, Ruth "Suzie" Sanderson of Harrison; one brother; three sisters; and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Mr. Krchmar was preceded in death by his father.
Celebration of Life services for Bub will be held Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. from Clark-Stocking Funeral Chapel and Cremation Service with Mr. Ben Evers officiating. A time of gathering and sharing will be held Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Memorial gifts in memory of Bub may be considered to the Krchmar Family, in care of: Elizabeth J. Krchmar.

What first comes to mind is to wish my condolences to Bub,s family and friends. My first memory comes to when I lived with aunt Suzanne, uncle Mike, and my senior year, seeing Bub standing at the end of the piano, with his arms crossed, and his striped shirt, usually the brown and white one. He would be smiling from ear to ear what a beautiful smile and often times on the school bus when there were bullies, he would sit next to the person that needed him with that big smile, and not a word when things calm down Bub would then go over to his friends. I will miss him, but I forever have my memories and I´m glad I have the beautiful smile to remember. When I seen his picture on the obituary, I said there it is thank you love y´all miss all. Take care.
