Diana, I am so sorry to hear of Jerry's passing, It's been a long time but you never forget a good person, both of you. I forgot that Jerry was a member of the Knights of Columbus, with such good memories. We will keep you and your family in our prayers.

Dear Diana, l know that no one will miss Jerry more than you, but there are many of us QAS ers that attended the daily 6:30 Mass who have great affection for him.
I am one of them. He and I sat at the third pillar, right side of church, Jerry one pew in front of me. Watching him for about 45 years, I thought this guy is a holy one. I want to be like him. Getting to know him outside of Mass, only confirmed that goodness. I´ll miss him, but I´m sure that he´s in heaven or will be shortly . Art

Glen & Mimi

January 25, 2023

Mr. Latin was my next door neighbor growing up. He was energetic, friendly and graciously kind to all. Back when I was in HS if he saw me walking to the CTA bus with Suzette (being late for HS), he would ask if we wanted a lift. He was never turned down by us, as we were always late.(mainly because of me)

I would get out at Western Ave., and Suzette would ride with him to Broadway Ave. He would turn on Broadway to go to KY and Suzette would then hop out to catch the Bryn Mawr elevated to go to Sacred Heart. (Louise always was an early bird, and stop off to see her friend Karen in the morning prior HS.)

Mr. Latin took a big leap in helping to support my husband, when Glen was first starting his CPA practice. It was a lucky break for us, and a great kindness from Mr. Latin!

Glen especially has remained friends with Mr. Latin, and always looked up to him. To this day Glen has called him Jerry,... and I, Mr. Latin!

Such great people, yet, we all know that....rest in heavenly peace, and continue to watch over your love ones. (along with Ricky & Scott)

Heaven has just received an upgrade upon his arrival.

Fondly,

Mimi
