Jerome Henry "Jerry" Leeper

Jerome Henry Leeper (Jerry), age 66, of Panama City Beach, Florida, passed away on March 12, 2025. He will be deeply missed by family and friends.
He was born March 23,1958 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was a long-time resident of Blue Springs, Missouri and after retirement from the Blue Springs School District, moved to Panama City Beach, Florida.
Jerry is survived by his siblings, Judith Sparks and husband Larry, Robert Leeper and wife Barbara, Ruth Leeper sister-in-law, Donald Walenter and husband Detlef, Janice Pointer her husband Roger and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased in death by his father Robert W. Leeper, mother and stepfather Selma and Arley Kelle, and brother John Leeper.
Music was a large part of Jerry's life. Mr. Leeper, as he was known, taught at Moreland Ridge Middle School as band director and was also an assistant band director at Blue Springs High School. He positively impacted the lives of hundreds of students.
After moving to Florida, he developed strong relationships with co-workers where he was employed at the Winn-Dixie near his home.
