Paul Hughes Obituary
Paul loved the simple joys of life-taking long, peaceful rides with his beloved wife, Donna, shooting a game of pool, and enjoying anything with wheels as a true car enthusiast. Some of his happiest moments were spent traveling with his grandkids and laughing together while playing their favorite game, Thumper.
Paul proudly served his country as a Veteran of the United States Army. He later dedicated his career to Ironwork, retiring from the Local II with honor and pride.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Hughes and Margret Hughes (Carey); grandson, Wayne Evans; sisters, Claire and Bonnie; brother, Alvin.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 48 years, Donna Hughes (Duvall); daughter, Vicki Brand and husband Vinnie; son Wayne Evans; grandchildren, Madison Brand, Tabatha Brand, Cassandra Brand, Griffin Evans, and Sky Evans.
A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 P.M., Sunday, January 11, 2026, at the VFW/Legion Post 402, 17680 Ashley Drive, Panama City Beach.
