A graveside service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m., September 19, 2025 at the Fayetteville City Cemetery in Fayetteville, Texas. A visitation with the family present is scheduled for September 18, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Cypress Fairbanks Funeral Home (9926 Jones Rd. Houston, Texas 77065).
Jerry, age 73 of Houston, passed away on September 13, 2025. He was born in Houston on June 27, 1952 to Jerome Walter Listvan and Aline (Stovall) Listvan. He graduated from Reagan High School in Houston and later worked for almost 30 years as a bus driver for Cy-Fair ISD.
Jerome enjoyed yardwork, bowling and spending time with his family. He looked forward to taking his two granddaughters to football games and their annual trip to Santa’s Wonderland. Jerome enjoyed music and played the saxophone, bass and the fiddle in such bands as the Tel-stars. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Jerry is survived by his children; Matt Listvan and wife, Elaina of Houston and Jacob Listvan and wife, April of Tomball; sisters, Elizabeth Dempsey and husband, Thomas and Linda Pritchett and husband, Gary; and two adored granddaughters, Melina and Makayla Listvan, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Jerome and Aline Listvan.
Memorials may be made to the Fayetteville Area Heritage Museum in Fayetteville, Texas or to a charity of one’s choice.
