SZYMANSKI, Jerome Jr. September 2, 2022. Age 71. Beloved husband of Laurie (nee: Cruickshank) for 46 years. Loving father of Meghan Jones (William) and Melissa Cook (Russell). Proud and loving Poppa of Jacob, Kenzie, Willow, Riddley, and Maeve. Dear brother of Grace Kamie (George), Christine Lorenc (Jerome), Anne Gallus (Thomas), the late Frank Szymanski, and the late Thomas Szymanski (Nancy). Jerome earned his B.B.A. from Eastern Michigan University and worked for 29 years as a controller at Queen Quality Laundry. He loved all sports and enjoyed watching the Tigers, Lions, Red Wings, Pistons, and Michigan State football. Jerome especially loved his family and being with them whenever possible. Visitation Wednesday 3-9pm with a 7pm Rosary at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc., 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile), Sterling Heights. Instate Thursday 9:30am until time of 10am Mass at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 38750 Ryan Rd. (S. of 17 Mile Rd.), Sterling Heights.
