A funeral service for Jerrell D. Hanna, 89, of Godley, will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday December 16, 2025 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel, located at 512 N. Ridgeway Dr. Cleburne, Tx 76033, with Rev. Brooks Monk officiating. Interment will follow in the Rosehill Cemetery, Cleburne with Bill Noftsinger, Nick Hanna, Blake Hanna, Tom Horn serving as pallbearers. There will be open visitation for family and friends from 9 AM to 5 PM at the funeral home on Monday December 15, 2025. He departed this life on December 11, 2025, in Godley, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Jerrell was a devoted family man, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of those around him. He shared a wonderful life with his beloved wife, Lela Hanna, and together they nurtured a loving family. He is survived by his two children, Karen Horn and her husband Garry, and Robert "Mark" Hanna and his wife Stacy. Jerrell's pride and joy were evident in his grandchildren, Nick Hanna & Wife Alyssa, Mikah Horn & Husband Bill Noftsinger, Tom Horn & Wife Brittany, Blake Hanna & Wife Stacey, and Anela Horn, along with his six great-grandchildren. Each of them holds a special place in their hearts for the lessons learned and the love shared with their grandfather. Additionally, he is remembered fondly by several nieces, friends, and other relatives who were fortunate to know him.

Jerrell was preceded in death by his parents, Archie Homer Hanna Sr. and his wife Gladys, as well as his siblings, brothers Homer Hanna and Markus Hanna, and sister Evelyn Stanford, along with his baby sister Mildred Hanna. Their memories remain a part of his story.

His life was characterized by strength, integrity, and dedication to family. As we remember Jerrell D Hanna, we celebrate his journey and the profound impact he had on the lives of those who were privileged to know him. He will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
