Funeral services for Pamela Reed Mathis of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 12 p.m., Wednesday, December 17, 2025 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Kenneth Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in Greenacres Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11:00 a.m. to Noon at the funeral home, prior to the service. Mrs. Pamela Mathis passed away on Friday, December 12th, 2025 at the age of 79 in Glen Rose, Texas. She was born to Edward L and Wanda (Teeter) Reed on January 25, 1946, in Cleburne, Texas. Pam worked at Johnson County Committee on Aging delivering meals and helping seniors every day. She retired from Walls Regional Hospital in the role of Dietician Clerk, where she helped with meal service. Her working years were spent serving others with a smile and making them feel known. She was a member of College Heights Baptist Church and deeply appreciated the care she received from her Sunday School class. Pam loved her family deeply. Her favorite memories were from Reed Reunions and spending time with her cousins. She loved Christmas and the 4th of July with all of their festivities. The coast was one of her favorite places and she loved traveling there with her brother. Her favorite title was Nana and she loved playing with her granddaughters. Pam loved life, her people, and adventures. She always had a smile on her face and saw the sunny side of life. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Johnny B Mathis. Pamela Mathis is survived by her daughter Holly Bauder and husband, Ken, grandchildren Beth Pendley and husband, Michael and Kate Bauder; brother Craig Reed and wife, Barbara.
