Jerremy Michael Sherbet, a man of courage and adventure, passed away peacefully at his home in Hayden, Alabama, on January 10, 2026. Born on October 12, 1977, in Alabama, Jerremy's life was one marked by a deep love for his family, an unquenchable thirst for the outdoors, and a passion for all things Auburn.

Jerremy is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Sherbet, who has been his rock and companion through the many chapters of life they shared together. His legacy of love and adventure lives on through his son, Tyler Jacques, and daughter, Cortney Jacques, who will always remember their father's courageous spirit. Jerremy's mother, Nita Abbott, his sister, Barbara "Cookie" Wells, alongside her husband, Kevin, and his cherished grandchild, Emmett LeBlanc, will forever hold memories of Jerremy close to their hearts. He also leaves behind a close-knit family of uncles, Ricky with Myra, Dennis with Tonya, and Kevin Sherbet, as well as a host of cousins and friends who were like an extended family to him.

Predeceased by his grandparents, Harold and Janet Sherbet, his stepfather, Frank Abbott, and his uncle, Benny Sherbet, Jerremy's life was a testament to their influence and the values they instilled in him.

Jerremy's professional life as a welder was a reflection of his hardworking and skilled nature. He took pride in his craft and was respected by his colleagues for his dedication and proficiency. His involvement in various associations highlighted his commitment to his profession and his willingness to lend a helping hand to his fellow workers.

An avid sportsman, Jerremy found solace and joy in the great outdoors. His love for hunting, ATV riding, camping, fishing, and racing was more than just pastimes; they were ways in which he connected with the world and with those he loved. His enthusiasm for Auburn sports was contagious, and he never missed an opportunity to cheer on his favorite team.

Described by those who knew him best as loving, adventurous, and courageous, Jerremy approached every day with a zest for life that was undeniable. He was a man who found beauty in the journey, cherished the time spent with loved ones, and always looked forward to the next adventure.

Jerremy's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with the threads of love, laughter, and the great outdoors. His spirit, a beacon of light for all who knew him, will continue to shine brightly in the memories he leaves behind. The world has lost a remarkable man, but the heavens have gained an intrepid soul. Jerremy Michael Sherbet will be deeply missed, yet his legacy will endure through the lives he touched and the wild, wonderful wilderness he so dearly loved.
