Jerri J. Foster, 48, died April 21, 2025, at Good Samaritan Society - Hutchinson Village, surrounded by her family. Jerri was born December 31, 1976, in Lyons, KS, to Jim Herold Lyddane and JaNell Elaine (Helmer) MacLaren.
Jerri graduated from Lyons High School in 1995 and then Hutchinson Community College and Brown-Macke College earning her Associates Degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. She was a CNA at Good Samaritan Society in Lyons and Hutchinson; an Occupational Therapy Assistant for Dillon Living Center and a waitress for Skaets Steak Shop in Hutchinson. Jerri enjoyed traveling, especially to the Bahamas, and she was a "foodie". She loved to try new things. Most of all Jerri enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Jerri is survived by: her daughters, Audrey Tommer (Malachi Kocher), Stasha Gunderson and Mariah Lyddane; father, Jim Lyddane; brother, Lucas (Haida) MacLaren; sister, Dawna Meyers; grandchildren, Preston LeShore, Deagon Lyddane, EssaBella Sarmiento, Brielle Winters, Jesus Sarmiento, Kingston and Alana Gomez; several aunts, uncles, niece and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Friends may sign the book 9 – 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. Visitation with the family present will be 6 to 7 p.m., Friday, April 25, 2025, at Elliott Mortuary. Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Saltcity Cowboy Church, 810 N. Main St., South Hutchinson, with Cy Bray presiding.
Memorials are suggested to the Jerri Foster Memorial Fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main St., Hutchinson, KS 67501, with checks made payable to Elliott Mortuary.
