November 10, 1957 – July 12, 2024
Services for Jerrie Davis Boster will be held at Kern River Family Mortuary on Monday, August 5th, 2024 at 10am. Interment will follow at the Bakersfield National Cemetery at 2pm, where she will join her husband, Jimmy W. Boster, who preceded her in death.
Jerrie was also preceded in death by her parents, Bruce & Lee Davis, and her sister, Denise. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Syndie & Nico Franzetti; brothers Lindy Davis & Brian Davis; sisters Wendy Napolitano & Christy Theis; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Jerrie was a caregiver – she ensured that everyone was well taken care of. Her colleagues at KCSOS could depend on her and her "Mary Poppins Bag" to always have what was needed, from tools to candy. She accompanied Jim on many adventures, from playing darts in their garage with friends to fishing in Alaska. She was an avid reader, and never without her e-reader. She also adored musicals, much to Jim's distaste!
She recently retired from her post at KCSOS, where she had many friends throughout her years of service.

I didn´t know I am truly sorry My family shared many beautiful memories with Jerri and Jim so sad to hear this may god bless the family my deepest condolences as time will heal always remember that it´s not a loss it´s another angel gain their wings to watch down over all they love.

In shock & heart broken, an understatement! I didn't know Jerri passed so didn't know about services. Jim & Jerri were good friends of my ex husband, Dwayne Millien, & mine for many years. Jim was our best man in our wedding, he & Dwayne worked together so that is how we met Jerri. Many many camping weekends together, many more nights hanging out in the garage playing darts & enjoying a cold one. Jerri always so welcoming, she was such a caring & loving friend. I wish I could post pics of our years right now but I will post later. Memories of Jerri & I taking Syndie, Courtney & Daymond (my 2) trick or treating & making me dress up along with her lol Our hearts broke when Jim passed & now my heart again broken. I'll always see her in my mind wearing her 49'er jacket. Jerri showed me a lot about how to not just be a wife but also be best friends, obviously I failed lol. Jerri & I PROUD long time 49'er gals My old friend, I'm sorry to see you are no longer here on earth however I know your happy & I've no doubt you & Jim are racing around heaven in that ("ole Burt Reynolds") TransAm both wearing your matching Niner jackets, laughing & rejoicing their reunion Syndie, my thoughts & prayers are with you Hereeee kitty kitty
