Jerrie Gwen Sanders, 72, passed away on December 12 in Baytown, Texas. Born in Pampa, Texas, Jerrie lived a life centered on faith, family, and love.

Jerrie was a devoted, family first woman whose greatest joy was being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She believed deeply in putting family above all else and spent her life caring for those she loved. Her home was a place of warmth, laughter, and comfort, often filled with the aromas of her cooking, the beauty of her garden, or the creativity of her crafting projects. She loved Christmas and enjoyed spending it with her family.

A woman of strong Christian faith, Jerrie loved her church and lived her life guided by high values, honesty, and compassion. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a loving spirit and was always ready to support friends and family in times of need. She was someone others could count on, no matter the circumstance.

Jerrie worked for much of her career as an executive assistant at Foley's and later Macy's, where she was known for her dedication and professionalism. After retiring, she chose to focus on what mattered most to her, spending more time with her family and creating lasting memories.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Louise Caswell, her father, Clarence Caswell, her brother, Eddie Caswell, her sister, Barbara Strother, and her beloved husband of 33 years, Jack Sanders.

Jerrie is survived by her children, Mike Sanders and his wife Traci, Mark Sanders and his wife Kim, and Michelle Sanders; her grandchildren, Kaia Sanders, Kellan Sanders, Tyson Sanders, and Noah Sanders and his wife Elizabeth; and her great grandchild, Jackson Sanders, along with many friends and extended family members who loved her dearly.

Jerrie Gwen Sanders will be remembered for her loving heart, unwavering faith, strong values, and the deep devotion she showed to her family. She will be greatly missed and forever cherished by all who knew her.
