Jerrod B. Cooper Sr., 91, of Harleysville, PA, went to be with the Lord on May 27, 2025.
Jerrod was born in Philadelphia, PA, to Raymond George Cooper and Cathryn Cooper (née Bircher). He spent his early years in Liverpool, PA, and later in Roxborough, PA. He served as a Sergeant in the United States Army. Following his military service, he worked at Leeds & Northrup, where he enjoyed a long career and was recognized with the President's Award for his volunteer work during his time there.
He is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 70 years, Geraldine Cooper (née Holup) of Swoyersville, PA. Together, they built a life rooted in enduring love and deep commitment to family and Christ.
Jerrod is also survived by his son, Jerrod B. Cooper Jr. (Lisa), and was preceded in death by his daughter, Sheryl A. Landis, as well as his siblings Virginia, Robert, and Raymond. Among his many roles, he took special joy in helping raise his great-grandson, DJ Landis.
He leaves behind 8 grandchildren, 12 additional great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
A service with military honors will be held on June 24th at 2:30 PM at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940.
