Jerry Adkins Obituary
Jerry Lorraine Adkins, age 81, passed away on November 11, 2024, in Midvale, Utah. She was born on August 6, 1943, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Rawlin and Della Christensen Behunin. She married Steve Adkins on June 1, 1965.
Jerry was a professional seamstress, tailor, and alterations expert at the National Army and Navy store for many years. She was skilled in multiple sewing techniques. Jerry had a mastery in many high-tech sewing and embroidery machines. Over the years she won several awards for her afghan’s at the State Fair. She had an ability to solve problems in unique ways which was reflected in her sewing and her many DIY home projects. Jerry loved riding motorcycles with her beloved husband Steve and was active in the Victor Valley (CA) Goldwing Touring Association. She was a collector of Coca-Cola Memorabilia and other knick-knacks. She was an amateur numismatist. She enjoyed spending time with her son Michael, camping, going to dinner, working on home improvement projects, and watching television.
Jerry is survived by her son Michael Adkins and her daughter-in-law Allison.
She is preceded in death by her husband Steve.
